As they prepare for the Snoggletog Festival, Hiccup and Astrid welcome guests into their home for a quiet evening of stories, and Hiccup begins recounting the history he shares with Toothless. What starts as a cozy holiday gathering becomes a way of passing down the connection between dragons and Vikings to a younger generation that barely remembers a time before that bond existed. Framed around fireside storytelling and festival preparations, the film centers on Hiccup and Toothless as families trade memories and children learn how that friendship changed life on their island.
