ActionAdventureCrimeDramaThriller119 min

As Hong Kong moves toward the 1997 handover, a bloody Triad power struggle pulls two young men onto opposite sides of the same conflict. Shawn Yue is Chan Wing Yan, recruited to go undercover inside the mob, while Edison Chen's Lau Kin Ming enters the police force as the underworld and the authorities become increasingly entangled. Around them, boss Hon Sam (Eric Tsang) and inspector Wong (Anthony Chau-Sang Wong) push loyalties, ambition, and suspicion into place, tracing the relationships and betrayals that lead into the first film.
