Shivers

HorrorSci-Fi88 min

In a luxury apartment complex outside Montreal, a parasite outbreak spreads from resident to resident, turning the building’s well-to-do tenants into violent, sex-driven attackers. David Cronenberg locates the horror inside polished hallways, elevators, and private apartments as the infection moves through the tower with alarming speed. Paul Hampton and Lynn Lowry are among the ensemble trapped inside the collapse, with Barbara Steele adding another unnerved presence as neighbors, visitors, and staff are pulled into the contagion. What begins in a controlled suburban high-rise quickly becomes a sealed-off nightmare of panic, appetite, and infection.
