The War of the Roses
ComedyDramaRomance116 min
Barbara and Oliver Rose look like a settled, affluent married couple, but once Barbara starts imagining life without her husband, the split turns into a vicious fight over who gets to stay in their carefully built home. Kathleen Turner's Barbara and Michael Douglas's Oliver turn the divorce into open domestic warfare, treating the house, the pets, and every possession as ammunition. Their lawyer, D'Amato (Danny DeVito), is left trying to make sense of a relationship that curdles from polished success into a nasty contest of pride and sabotage.
