Mammootty is Kuttan, a rigid upper-caste retired police officer who lives by routine with his son, Kichu. After his younger sister Bharati elopes with Kuttappan, the lower-caste man she loves, Kuttan becomes convinced that danger is closing in on him. As attempts on his life increase, his suspicion and need for control begin to poison the people around him, turning the household into a place of fear, resentment and constant scrutiny. Parvathy Thiruvothu is among those caught in Kuttan’s tightening grip as caste prejudice, family rupture and paranoia reshape the home.
