The Great Flood

ActionAdventureDramaSci-Fi106 min

As a catastrophic flood swallows the world, a researcher is trapped in a rising apartment building with her young son when a call comes in for a mission tied to humanity’s survival. Kim Da-mi is the scientist at the story’s center, caught between getting her child out and answering a larger emergency, with Park Hae-soo in the ensemble of survivors around them. Working on a contained scale inside the flooded high-rise, the film pairs disaster stakes with a close view of people cut off from escape as the water keeps climbing.
