Mystery novelist Je-In gets pulled into a serial-killer hunt when she starts chasing clues alongside her longtime friend Rok-Hwan (Cheon Jeong-myeong), a detective who knows her habits almost too well. Ha Ji-won’s Je-In brings a writer’s imagination and stubborn curiosity to the case, turning their partnership into a tangle of investigation, bickering, and romantic tension. Then Jason arrives, and Chen Bolin gives the enigmatic stranger a cool, unreadable presence that complicates both the case and the chemistry around it. The story moves between murder-mystery beats and offbeat rom-com energy as Je-In refuses to stay on the sidelines.
