Kuch Kuch Hota Hai

ComedyDramaFamilyMusicalRomance177 min

An 8-year-old girl tries to reunite her father with the college best friend who loved him, reopening a story that began years earlier at St. Xavier’s. Shah Rukh Khan is Rahul, whose easy friendship with Anjali turns complicated when Tina (Rani Mukerji), the principal’s daughter, enters their circle. Kajol’s Anjali starts out as Rahul’s closest companion and the third point in a love triangle that echoes into the next generation. Moving between campus life and a child’s matchmaking plan, the film folds broad comedy, song-and-dance romance, and family melodrama into its shifting relationships.
