Back to Life

ComedyDrama27 min per episode

After 18 years in prison, Miri returns to the small coastal town where everyone knows her name and no one wants to forget what happened. She moves back in with her parents and tries to build an ordinary life, but each step forward runs into suspicion, gossip, and old anger that hangs over every street and shop. Small routines—getting a job, making a friend, riding a bike—turn tense as the town keeps pulling her back into the past. Daisy Haggard’s Miri meets that hostility with awkward humor and stubborn hope, while her family’s own secrets and resentments make home no safe refuge either.
