In the Land of Women

ComedyDramaRomance97 min

After a breakup sends him out of Los Angeles, Carter Webb moves to suburban Michigan to look after his ailing grandmother. Adam Brody is Carter, a young writer who soon drifts into the lives of the family across the street: Sarah (Meg Ryan) and her teenage daughters, Paige and Lucy. As neighborly visits turn more personal, Carter becomes a sounding board, distraction, and source of tension inside a household already dealing with illness, infidelity, and change. Kristen Stewart appears as Paige, the older daughter whose bond with Carter complicates the already shaky boundaries between them.
