Lara Croft: Tomb Raider

ActionAdventureFantasyThriller100 min

Angelina Jolie is Lara Croft, an orphaned heiress and English archaeologist racing to recover the two halves of an ancient talisman before a once-in-5,000-years planetary alignment lets the wrong people use it to control time. With the Illuminati and other rival adventurers closing in, Lara follows the trail from grand estates to Siberian ruins and is forced into uneasy alliances with people she doesn't trust. The hunt pulls together secret-society intrigue, ancient mythology, and polished early-2000s action around a character balancing aristocratic poise with hands-on treasure hunting.
