The Pink Panther Strikes Again
ComedyCrime103 min
Charles Dreyfus has finally snapped under Inspector Clouseau’s endless incompetence, and after escaping a mental institution he sets out to remove Clouseau for good. Herbert Lom’s Dreyfus turns a professional grudge into an elaborate campaign, while Peter Sellers is Clouseau, still charging through investigations with total certainty and no awareness of the danger closing in around him. Lesley-Anne Down and Burt Kwouk turn up amid Blake Edwards’ parade of sabotaged police work, international chaos, and slapstick destruction, with Dreyfus’s revenge plot growing larger every time Clouseau somehow survives it.
