Owen Cooper is Jamie, a boy at the center of accusations, police questioning, and psychological scrutiny. Stephen Graham’s Eddie Miller, Jamie’s father and the “appropriate adult” assigned to stand with him, is forced to confront the gap between what a parent believes and what the evidence might show. Detective Inspector Luke Bascombe (Ashley Walters) and clinical psychologist Briony Ariston (Erin Doherty) circle the same question from different directions: what happened, and who is Jamie really?
