Monty Python and the Holy Grail

ActionAdventureComedyFantasy91 min

Graham Chapman is King Arthur, roaming medieval England with his squire to recruit the Knights of the Round Table for a quest to find the Holy Grail. Alongside knights including Sir Lancelot, Sir Robin, and Sir Bedevere, Arthur’s band lurches from swordfights to slapstick, with John Cleese and Eric Idle among the Monty Python ensemble twisting Camelot legend into deadpan absurdity. The Black Knight refuses to concede even after losing limb after limb, horses are replaced by squires clacking coconuts, and Camelot itself is waved off as “a silly place.”
