In a village by the river, a young man and woman fall in love within the routines and expectations of a close-knit family. What begins as a tender rural romance soon becomes tangled with marriage arrangements, duty to elders, and the fragile balance between two households joined by custom. As family decisions start to outweigh personal wishes, small misunderstandings and social pressures threaten to turn affection into sacrifice. With Sachin and Sadhana Singh at the center of the story, the film follows how love is tested when tradition, kinship, and the needs of the family leave little room for anyone to choose freely.
