Ji-woong is a jobless young man who keeps lying to his mother for money until she abruptly cuts him off, leaving him homeless. Song Joong-ki is Ji-woong, suddenly forced to account for every won, while Han Ye-seul's Hong-sil lives by strict thrift, treating bank deposits as a hobby and scavenging empty bottles and old newspapers for cash. As their lives intersect, his aimless habits run headfirst into her relentless frugality. The setup frames a South Korean romance-comedy around unpaid bills, daily hustles, and two people who see money in completely different ways.
