Evil
Drama113 min
After one fight too many gets him expelled, 16-year-old Erik is sent from Stockholm to a boarding school in 1950s Sweden, where his mother hopes he can finish his education and escape the violence at home. Andreas Wilson is Erik, trying to keep his promise to stay out of trouble even as Stjärnsberg runs on humiliation, corporal punishment, and older students’ control over younger boys. Henrik Lundström and Gustaf Skarsgård are among the faces around him in a school where discipline slides into abuse, and every response carries the risk of another expulsion.
