Clock Cleaners

AnimationComedyFamily9 min

High above the street, Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy are supposed to clean a giant clock tower; instead, the job turns into a running fight with spinning gears, snapping springs, pounding bells and a stubborn stork. Walt Disney voices Mickey, while Clarence Nash's Donald brings his usual flustered energy to a task that keeps getting louder and harder to control. Built around the trio's different rhythms—Mickey trying to keep order, Donald losing patience, Goofy drifting into trouble—the 1937 short turns routine maintenance into a chain of mechanical gags.
