After leaving Seattle Grace, Kate Walsh is Addison Forbes Montgomery, a surgeon who heads to Los Angeles and reconnects with old med-school friends at the private Oceanside Wellness Center in Santa Monica. The new practice brings her into an upscale, co-op clinic where patient cases, partnership tensions, and personal entanglements all spill into the workday. Amy Brenneman and Taye Diggs are part of the ensemble around Addison, alongside fellow doctors and staff trying to keep the business running while their relationships keep shifting. As a Grey’s Anatomy spinoff, the series follows Addison into a different medical world, with less hospital hierarchy and more overlap between professional and private life.
