Wonder Wheel
DramaRomance101 min
In 1950s Coney Island, former actress Ginny is working as a clam-house waitress and living with her husband, carousel operator Humpty, when she begins an affair with a younger lifeguard who dreams of becoming a playwright. Kate Winslet's Ginny shares the center with Jim Belushi's Humpty, Justin Timberlake's Mickey, and Carolina (Juno Temple), Humpty's long-estranged daughter, whose return while hiding from gangsters unsettles the apartment and the relationships around it. Against the glare of the amusement park, the film follows four people chasing escape, romance, and a different life.
