In 1960, a group of outcast kids in Derry begin to realize that the town's disappearances trace back to a shape-shifting predator that feeds on fear. It most often appears as Pennywise the clown, but it can take whatever form will terrify each child most. Calling themselves the Losers Club, they make a pact to fight what the adults around them cannot or will not see. Thirty years later, when the killings start again, the friends are drawn back to Derry as adults to face the thing they barely survived the first time. Tim Curry’s Pennywise turns their childhood fears into the enemy waiting for them at home.
