Murder by Numbers

CrimeDramaMysteryThriller120 min

When a young woman’s body turns up outside the California coastal town of San Benito, homicide detective Cassie Mayweather is assigned the case with her new partner, Sam Kennedy. Sandra Bullock is Cassie, a seasoned investigator whose instinct tells her the killing isn’t random, while Ben Chaplin’s Sam is still learning the rhythms of homicide work. Their search leads them toward two high school students, Richard (Ryan Gosling) and Justin (Michael Pitt), young men whose intelligence and control make them difficult to pin down. As Cassie follows the smallest pieces of evidence, the case starts to reopen wounds from an earlier crime in her own past.
