The Scorpion King

ActionAdventureDramaFantasy92 min

In ancient Egypt, Dwayne Johnson is Mathayus, a peasant warrior hired to strike back at Memnon, a ruthless conqueror closing in on Balthazar’s village. What begins as a revenge mission widens into a clash of armies, thieves, kidnappings, and palace intrigue, with the sorceress Cassandra at the center of Memnon’s power. Kelly Hu and Michael Clarke Duncan join Johnson in a desert-bound story of ambushes, sword fights, and shifting loyalties, as Mathayus tries to survive a brutal campaign and carve out justice in a world ruled by force and prophecy.
