In Miami, Metro-Dade detectives Sonny Crockett and Rico Tubbs work undercover against the city’s drug trade, gunrunning, and organized crime. Their cases put them inside nightclubs, marinas, luxury hotels, and street-level deals where one bad read can expose them. Each investigation depends on aliases, informants, and stings, but the job keeps blurring the line between the lives they invent and the danger closing in around them. As Crockett and Tubbs, played by Don Johnson and Philip Michael Thomas, move from one operation to the next, they chase kingpins, protect witnesses, and try to hold cases together in a city where money, violence, and corruption travel together.
