The Spanish Apartment

ComedyDramaRomance122 min

A straight-laced French student leaves Paris for Barcelona and winds up sharing an apartment with six strangers from across Europe. Romain Duris is the newcomer at the center of the flat share, trying to keep up with a household where languages, routines, flirtations, and loyalties shift from room to room, with Audrey Tautou among the ensemble around him. As classes give way to cramped dinners, hookups, arguments, and unlikely friendships, the apartment becomes a small map of Europe, with culture clashes and romantic entanglements folded into the everyday mess of communal living.
