Caveman

ActionAdventureComedyRomance91 min

Cast out of his tribe for chasing Lana, the mate of its resident strongman, Atouk (Ringo Starr) heads into the prehistoric wilds and starts assembling a tribe of fellow outcasts. Dennis Quaid’s Lar joins him as the group blunders into discoveries like fire, cooked meat, and new ways to survive among rival clans and lumbering dinosaurs. With Atouk still fixated on Lana and never far from trouble, the movie turns Stone Age life into a string of broad physical gags, primitive rivalries, and romance filtered through grunts, chases, and slapstick mishaps.
