The Happening
ActionAdventureDramaSci-FiThriller91 min
As people across the Northeast suddenly begin taking their own lives, science teacher Elliot Moore flees the city with his wife Alma, trying to stay ahead of whatever is moving through the air. Mark Wahlberg is Elliot, a man chasing explanations as panic spreads from crowded streets to isolated farmland, while Zooey Deschanel's Alma is pulled into the same scramble for safety. M. Night Shyamalan builds the crisis around an unanswered question: terrorism, a toxic release, or something in the natural world itself.
