The Shack
DramaFamilyFantasy132 min
After the death of his young daughter, Mack Phillips is barely holding his family together when a mysterious note summons him back to an isolated shack and toward an encounter he can’t explain. Sam Worthington’s Mack arrives carrying grief, guilt, and anger, while Octavia Spencer appears as Papa, the woman who welcomes him into a deeply personal confrontation with faith and loss. With Radha Mitchell and Tim McGraw in Mack’s family circle, the story moves between domestic tragedy and Christian-leaning fantasy as one man tries to make sense of what happened.
