Dragon Ball: The Path to Power

The story

Young Goku crosses paths with Bulma and Kame-Sen'nin in a retelling of Dragon Ball’s beginnings that revisits their first meeting and folds in the Red Ribbon Army storyline. Instead of Goku seeking them out, the army comes looking for him, pulling the early adventure into a collision of martial-arts action, invention-driven comedy, and fantasy worldbuilding. The film reshapes familiar material from the original series while keeping its focus on Goku’s first big encounters and the scramble around the Dragon Balls. Masako Nozawa and Hiromi Tsuru are among the Japanese voice cast at the center of this origin-story reset.
