The Bandit

CrimeDramaThriller128 min

After 35 years in prison, a notorious bandit walks back into Turkey expecting to settle an old score and reclaim the life that was taken from him. The country he returns to has changed, and so have the people he once trusted. As he searches for the woman he lost and the friend who betrayed him, his path crosses with a younger man drifting through Istanbul’s underworld. What begins as a revenge mission turns into a tense passage through city streets, criminal circles, and memories that refuse to stay buried. Written and directed by Yavuz Turgul, the film follows Şener Şen’s aging outlaw as past debts and present dangers close in.
