In the 22nd century, Sam Worthington is Jake Sully, a paraplegic former Marine sent to Pandora to control a genetically engineered Na’vi body and gather intelligence for a human mining operation. On the lush alien moon, where the colony’s expansion threatens a local tribe, Jake is pulled between military orders and the world he’s entering. James Cameron frames the conflict around extraction, warfare, and Pandora’s connection to nature, with Zoe Saldana and Sigourney Weaver among the people shaping Jake’s divided loyalties.
