Scarlett Johansson is an American journalism student in London who stumbles onto a murder lead during a strange encounter with the spirit of a dead reporter. Teaming up with Woody Allen’s fumbling stage magician, she starts digging into a string of killings that may point to a wealthy British aristocrat. Hugh Jackman’s smooth, well-connected suspect pulls her into London society just as the case starts mixing tabloid intrigue, flirtation, and a supernatural thread.
