The Advocate: A Missing Body
ActionAdventureCrimeDramaMysteryThriller117 min
A hotshot lawyer who usually wins by any means is blindsided when his murder client confesses in open court, blowing up both the case and his reputation. Lee Sun-kyun is Byeon, an attorney hired to defend a chauffeur accused of killing a female student even though there’s no body, only a blood-soaked scene and an eyewitness. As Byeon scrambles to uncover what actually happened, Kim Go-eun’s prosecutor Jin — who shares a past with him — pushes the case into a tense clash of courtroom strategy, buried evidence, and personal history.
