CrimeDramaMysteryThriller101 min

In London, a midwife helps deliver the baby of a trafficked 14-year-old girl who dies in childbirth, leaving behind a newborn and a diary that hints at how she was exploited. As Anna tries to trace the girl's family and understand what happened, she discovers the trail leads into the Russian Mafia. Her questions put the baby in danger and draw the attention of a crime boss determined to keep the past buried. When his enforcer, played by Viggo Mortensen, warns her to stop digging, Anna keeps moving forward anyway, forcing her deeper into a closed world of violence, loyalty, and intimidation.
