The Good Student

ComedyMystery90 min

An unpopular high school teacher finds himself pulled into a suburban crisis when Ally, a popular student and local celebrity, goes missing. Tim Daly is the faculty outsider caught in the town’s panic, while Hayden Panettiere’s Ally becomes the center of rumor, scrutiny, and local obsession. As classmates, parents, and police react to the disappearance, the story stays close to the school’s uneasy social order and the uncomfortable attention suddenly fixed on one teacher. Dark humor runs through the setup, with suburban respectability and high school hierarchy both thrown off balance by a case that won’t stay private.
