Daniel Radcliffe is Nate Foster, a young FBI analyst sent undercover inside a white supremacist network suspected of building a terrorist plot. To get close, Nate has to adopt a new identity and move through a world of coded language, recruitment, and escalating paranoia, where one wrong move could expose him. The deeper he goes, the harder it becomes to keep his cover separate from his own convictions. Toni Collette and Tracy Letts fill out the law-enforcement and extremist circles around him in a story inspired by real events.
