Planet Earth

Documentary51 min per episode

David Attenborough narrates a globe-spanning look at the natural world, filmed across 64 countries and built around the animals, landscapes, and seasonal cycles that shape life on Earth. The series moves through a wide range of habitats to observe migration, hunting, courtship, and survival, pairing intimate wildlife behavior with sweeping views of the planet’s terrain. In versions narrated by Sigourney Weaver, the footage is reframed for U.S. audiences with a different voice guiding the same survey of species and environments. The focus stays on the scale of the planet and the varied forms of life found across it.
