Valiant

ActionAdventureAnimationComedyFamilyWar76 min

In May 1944, a small woodland pigeon heads for London after hearing the Royal Homing Pigeon Service needs recruits. Ewan McGregor is Valiant, determined to become a hero, and Ricky Gervais’s Bugsy is the grubby, friendly pigeon he meets on the road after a pebble-game scam sends him looking for a way out. Once they sign up, the two are folded into a wartime squadron of messenger pigeons, where ambition, nerves, and a lot of bumbling all collide. Tim Curry, Jim Broadbent, Hugh Laurie, and John Cleese round out the voice cast in this World War II animated adventure.
