Exotica

DramaMystery104 min

Night after night, Francis returns to an upscale Toronto strip club and asks for the same dancer. Bruce Greenwood is Francis, a tax auditor carrying private grief; Mia Kirshner’s Christina works the floor at Exotica, where attention, jealousy, and ritual are part of the job. Onstage, MC Eric (Elias Koteas), Christina’s ex, introduces her while nursing his own resentments, and a quiet pet-shop owner named Thomas is pulled into the club’s tense orbit. Their connections tighten around secrets, surveillance, and loss, with the nightclub’s staged intimacy spilling into life outside its doors.
