Velvet Nagaram

The story

After their best friend is murdered, two women refuse to let the case fade and begin tracing the circumstances around her death themselves. Varalaxmi Sarathkumar is one of the friends pushing deeper into the mystery, with Kasthuri Shankar alongside her as each answer opens onto another layer of secrecy. What begins as a search for a killer turns into a wider investigation shaped by conflicting accounts, hidden connections, and the pressure that comes with asking the wrong questions. This Tamil thriller keeps its focus on the friendship at the center of the case and the uncertainty surrounding what really happened.
