Facing bankruptcy, chicken farmer Raymond turns to the passion he has kept hidden for years: the theater. With Cyrano de Bergerac folded into his effort to save the farm, daily worries about money and relationships start colliding with rehearsals, performance, and a very public version of the man he has usually kept to himself. Guillaume de Tonquédec leads the film alongside Léa Drucker in a French comedy that brings literary grand gestures to an unlikely setting, where a working farm and a long-buried creative life suddenly have to share the same space.
