In nine satirical vignettes across modern-day Tehran, ordinary errands turn into negotiations with authority: a father tries to register his newborn’s name, a rideshare driver wants her impounded car back, a man with poem tattoos applies for a license, and an elderly woman pleads for the return of her dog. Bahram Ark and Behnaz Jafari are among the ensemble moving through offices, checkpoints, and waiting rooms where every request seems to require the right wording. The film keeps its focus on everyday exchanges, showing how bureaucracy, surveillance, and official language press in on the smallest parts of daily life.
