Bellbottom

ActionAdventureThriller130 min

By 1984, after a string of airplane hijackings, India faces another airborne crisis, and a RAW agent nicknamed BellBottom spots the larger plan behind it. Akshay Kumar is the intelligence officer sent into India’s first overseas covert operation, with the response stretching from government war rooms to Dubai. Vaani Kapoor and Lara Dutta join the story as the mission tightens around a hijacked commercial flight and the passengers aboard it. Drawing on the wave of hijackings that shaped the era, the film follows a rescue effort built on spycraft, political pressure, and a figure the operation leaves largely forgotten.
