True Memoirs of an International Assassin

ActionAdventureComedyCrime98 min

When a publisher rebrands a first-time writer’s assassin novel as a true memoir, the harmless author suddenly has a reputation as a legendary killer. Kevin James is the novice writer caught in the fallout, shoved from book publicity into kidnappings, gunfire, and a political plot in Venezuela. As the fantasy he put on the page starts closing in around him, the only way out is to bluff his way through the underworld as if he were the deadly operative everyone thinks he is. Andy Garcia and Zulay Henao join the chase as the mix-up turns a literary mistake into an international mess.
