Tae Guk Gi: The Brotherhood of War

ActionAdventureDramaWar140 min

At the outbreak of the Korean War, two South Korean brothers are swept into the army against their will, and the older one takes the most dangerous assignments in hopes of keeping the younger out of harm’s way. Dong-gun Jang is Jin-tae, a working-class older brother whose protectiveness hardens under combat, while Won Bin’s Jin-seok enters the war with college plans and family life abruptly cut off. As air raids, forced marches, and front-line battles close in, their bond is pushed by military pressure, separation from home, and the widening violence between North and South.
