I Love You
Drama110 min
After their relationships with other people fall apart, Maria and Paulo throw themselves into an intense affair as a way to hold loneliness at bay. Sonia Braga is Maria, while Paulo (Paulo César Peréio) meets her with the same mix of need, passion, and uncertainty. What begins as a refuge becomes a close look at two people trying to negotiate intimacy after disappointment, with the film staying focused on their conversations, clashes, and moments of connection as they test whether love can protect them from isolation.
