Bullhead

CrimeDrama129 min

Young cattle farmer Jacky Vanmarsenille is pulled into an illegal deal with a corrupt veterinarian and a notorious beef trader, linking his farm to Belgium’s underground hormone trade. Matthias Schoenaerts is Jacky, a physically imposing man whose dependence on steroids and buried trauma shape every move he makes. When a federal agent investigating the trade is killed and someone from Jacky’s past reappears, the criminal arrangement starts to close in on him from every side. Rooted in rural Flanders, the film ties organized crime, livestock farming, and personal history into a tense, brutal story.
