Happy Death Day
ComedyHorrorMysteryThriller97 min
On her birthday, college student Tree Gelbman is murdered by a masked attacker, then wakes up and finds herself reliving the same day again and again. Jessica Rothe is Tree, forced to retrace each conversation, party stop, and wrong turn on campus as she tries to figure out who killed her and why. Israel Broussard’s Carter, a fellow student pulled into her increasingly strange predicament, becomes part of the search for answers. The film folds a time-loop setup into a campus murder mystery, with Tree stuck between the routines of college life and the countdown to another violent end.
