The Magician
ComedyDrama122 min
Failed magician Iskender heads out on a comeback tour across Turkey, hoping to rescue his career while stuck on the road with his grumpy, senile father and his closest friend. Cem Yilmaz leads the mounting chaos, with Mazhar Alanson alongside him as the father whose needs and complaints follow from stop to stop. What begins as a string of small-town stage shows takes a sharp turn when a bride vanishes during the act, leaving Iskender to deal with a disappearing trick that suddenly isn’t just part of the performance. Comedy and family strain sit side by side as the tour keeps unraveling.
