George Clooney is a professional fixer hired to contain a high-profile crime in a hotel room, expecting a discreet cleanup and a quick exit. Instead, Brad Pitt’s equally solitary operator turns up on the same assignment, forcing two men who are used to working alone into the same mess. What begins as damage control spirals into a longer, stranger night, with each new complication pushing the job further from the neat solution either of them was promised. Jon Watts keeps the setup tight around two rival fixers, one bad scene, and a cover-up that won’t stay contained.
